LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Presidential ballot will not take place in six districts of southern Helmand province due to insecurity, an official said on Wednesday.
Shabbir Ahmad Hamid, provincial Independent Election Commission head, in an exclusive interview told Pajhwok Afghan News that election would not take place in Nawzad, Washir, Sangeen, Desho, Musa Qala and Khanshin districts.
“Sticker attachment process was also remained undone due to insecurity.” He said.

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Hundreds of tribal elders gathered in eastern Nangarhar province on Sunday and demanded the presidential election to be held on time.
